Personal Training Terms & Conditions

1. Services Provided

SummitFitnessUK provides personal training, small-group training, and general fitness and lifestyle coaching services. All services are focused on exercise, movement, and general wellbeing.

We do not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.


2. Health & Medical Responsibility

By taking part in training, you confirm that:

  • You are physically able to exercise

  • You have disclosed any injuries, medical conditions, or limitations before training

  • You will inform your coach of any changes to your health

If advised, it is your responsibility to seek medical clearance from a GP or healthcare professional.


3. Assumption of Risk

Physical exercise carries inherent risks, including but not limited to muscle soreness, strain, or injury.

By participating in training with SummitFitnessUK, you accept full responsibility for these risks and agree to train at your own discretion.

4. Client Responsibility
Clients agree to:

  • Follow coaching instructions

  • Train within their personal limits

  • Communicate pain or discomfort immediately

  • Use equipment safely and correctly

SummitFitnessUK reserves the right to stop or modify any session if safety is a concern.

5. Bookings & Punctuality

  • Sessions must be booked in advance

  • Clients should arrive on time

  • Late arrivals may result in a shortened session

  • Sessions will not be extended due to client lateness

If the coach is late, the full session time will be honoured.

6. Cancellation Policy

  • A minimum of 24 hours’ notice is required to cancel or reschedule

  • Sessions cancelled with less than 24 hours’ notice will be charged in full

  • Missed sessions (no-shows) are non-refundable

Exceptions for genuine emergencies may be considered at the coach’s discretion.

7. Payments & Packages

  • All sessions and packages must be paid for in advance

  • Packages are non-transferable

  • Payments are non-refundable once sessions have begun

SummitFitnessUK reserves the right to pause services if payment terms are not met.
 

Minimum Commitment
All monthly coaching memberships operate on a minimum 3-month commitment.

Clients may cancel at any time within the first 30 days if they are not satisfied.

After the first 30 days, the remaining commitment period applies.




8. Session Expiry
Session packages must be used within the agreed timeframe. Unused sessions may expire unless otherwise agreed in writing.

9. Nutrition Guidance
Any nutrition guidance provided is general and educational only. It is not intended as medical or clinical advice and should not replace guidance from a registered healthcare professional.

10. Results Disclaimer
Results vary between individuals and depend on factors such as consistency, effort, lifestyle, nutrition, and genetics.
SummitFitnessUK makes no guarantees regarding fat loss, muscle gain, strength, or appearance outcomes.

11. Conduct & Behaviour
SummitFitnessUK maintains a respectful, professional training environment.
We reserve the right to refuse or terminate services without refund in cases of:

  • Abusive or inappropriate behaviour

  • Repeated policy breaches

  • Unsafe conduct


12. Media & Content
Photos or videos may occasionally be taken for coaching or marketing purposes. Consent will always be requested before public use, and clients may opt out at any time.

13. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by UK law, SummitFitnessUK is not liable for:

  • Injuries or health issues arising from participation

  • Loss or damage to personal property

  • Indirect or consequential losses


14. Privacy & Data Protection
All personal data is handled in line with UK GDPR and is used solely for coaching and business administration purposes.

15. Acceptance of Terms
By booking and attending sessions with SummitFitnessUK, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms & Conditions.

SummitFitnessUK reserves the right to update these terms at any time.
